Ocean grange

Post by All ways fishin » Sun Feb 10, 2019 2:21 pm

Took the family over to ocean grange for lunch, as always can’t go near water without out a fishing rod, so I just whacked a paternoster rig on with some blue bait and squid no bites for two hours, then bang one nice big salmon for granny she loves them. And that was it for the three & half hours we were there, it was pretty windy this morning though and no weed so not to bad for fishing. Sorry won’t let me put up pic.

Wow, All ways fishin. What a great punchy report of a great day out with the family and a fish for Granny to boot, and a chonka of a Salmon too. I mean, who doesn't love a story with a Granny , , , , well Little Red Riding hood, but we all know it wasn't really Granny.

Why you chop top off the head instead not under the head?

I’ve just always cut salmon through the top and then they bleed out every where

Top has always quick and easy to me I also do the same to gummies and gut them straight away once caught.
