I have a stupid amount of lures but those madscads are by far my favorite at the moment. I have all sizes i'm casting this one just seemed to hit the smaller one.
Dumb question for you, have you ever used the long double pre rigged Slug Gos ? They are supposed to be the shiz but I can't seem to figure out how to work them properly and there is nothing on youtube that's even remotely helpful.

Sluggo’s? Yeah just hold the rod up high and rip em straight across the surface.

Dougie. With the sluggos rip em fast across the surface like Scott said. But do a burn and kill retrieve. The sluggo shoots off at near right angles on the kill.

The sluggos are best used unweighted or very lightly weighted.
For where you are fishing and the gear you are using I think its going to be a bit hard. Unless ofcourse you have gear that can cast unweighted plastics a mile from the rocks..
