Been quite a bit caught lately, not record breaking but still good steady fishing. Good to see some school shark around. Some to 15kg too.
I have been giving the salmon a hammering in the gutters on the eastern spit. Been so calm on the bar it is hard not to have a go. 18 between 2 of us Friday for an hours trolling and casting. All no more than 40mtrs from the beach and 50-200mtrs east of the entrance rock wall.
A little bird tells me there has been some nice KGW caught in the channel between Rigby and Fraser Island so I might do some lake fishing this week.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
