Shallow Inlet

Post by emerger1 » Thu Apr 12, 2018 5:23 pm

6 nights at Shallow Inlet with a boat. Fishing the lower half of the tide for whiting with bass yabbies. Hard fishing. Few whiting around. The odd big one but many undersize. Other catches, flat head, trevally, the odd good pinky. Someone caught a nice mulloway up the top (bottom) end 2 days ago. On bass yabbies. Beautiful place. Cheers.

Love the place. Many awesome whiting trips there, even seen gummies cruising in the shallow water at the beach launch on incoming tide at dusk!

A mulloway caught sounds exciting!

Good you got a few

Great fun for kids fishing off the bank there, just don't go during touristy times place gets packed and jetski-ers/dogswimmers annoying

Surveyed the inlet there but never fished it. Nice spot
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
