Seals & The Snowy

Post by Whiskers » Fri Mar 16, 2018 8:18 pm

Spent the afternoon fishing the Snowy upstream from Corringle Lake.

Plenty of little bream around and then out of nowhere schools of chopper tailor. The tailor are moving upriver in schools and are being harassed all the way by seals. When you hook a little tailor you have to horse it in or otherwise Sammy the Seal is on to it!

Awesome sight to see.

Old Sammy he has caused me so much pain over the years. There are always a few resident seals hanging around the jetty in Marlo.
