People get envious about the fishing in more exotic locations like Queensland but imo what we have down here stacks up well. Where you fished had breathtaking scenery and you had some great sessions on lures. Those things put together make for fantastic fishing.

Best Wishes

Thanks Truedogz, I'm with you. Victoria's natural beauty is right up there with the most spectacular in Australia. I've done lots of fishing up north and wading the flats in Vic's remote estuaries is still my fave way to fish.

Great report Pat, if that’s what your version of “too long between drinks”, then this type of drinking would hav you constantly drunk if you got out more often. Awesome pocket to fish

Beautiful photos broomstick. I have snorkelled on the submerged rocks near the entrance of that location and can confirm that there are some big bream hanging around them but I couldn't get them to bite when I chucked a line at them. I too planned a trip up the beach to suss out the next inlet this summer but alas I managed to rerupture my Achilles on New Year's Day and that counts out any beach walking for a while. Having seen your snaps of it now though I'll keep it on the to do list for next summer. Agree with you that it is a beautiful part of the world, reminiscent of parts of wilsons prom. Again mate, great report and top photos, your reports are always entertaining and inspiring. Keep up the good work.
