Fished Paynesville today

Post by ango » Tue Jan 23, 2018 2:35 pm

Hi All,
I had a fish off Paynesville today, the water was pretty green throughout the area, I tried all the usual spots and did not even get a bite all day, still an nice day on the water, and lucky I still can have a feed because the veggie garden is in overdrive at the moment.
Cheers.

Took the grandkids fishing near Nungurner today and on Sunday. Handful of school whiting both days. Quite a lot of small flatties and flying gurnard.
Very busy with a 5yo and a 9yo. 9Yo hooked a salmon and lost it at the side of the boat. Let the line flick up and go slack and it was gone. I was very busy untangling and baiting up, sorting out fights, etc. Fun day on the water. Took the 11yo out separately it was a saner experience. She managed to hook and land 9 fish 3 of which were keepers. (whiting)
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.
