Escaped for a few hours..

Post by MsShimano » Sun Oct 22, 2017 7:05 pm

Haven't been on here much or fishing really as I've been concentrating on my new job.

Left work at 1pm and decided to try my luck in this rain for some trout.. took my best friend with me and headed down to a beautiful river about 2 hours away from Melbourne... wasn't long until I hooked up my first brown trout and my first freshwater fish... yes she's little but a fish is a fish..
rain pouring, just me, my best friend and my fishing rod.. wouldn't have it any other way..

Of course I talk to my self while fishing.. sometimes I need expert advice! :fishing:

Good job, and like you said "a fish is a fish" better that than a donut any day.. certainly plenty of water belting down there too.
Your best friend looked pretty relaxed in the rain as well.. :-D

cheers

Well done catching your first trout. The scenery and atmosphere would have made it a succussful trip alone, the brown would have been a bonus!
