How quick conditions change

Post by re-tyred » Mon Apr 10, 2017 11:22 am

Just to give you an idea of how quick conditions can change. This is the wave rider this morning. 1Nm from the entrance. 1mtr to 3-4mtrs in less than half an hour. This is from the south east and the swell started before the wind. The bar went from flat calm to breaking across the leads at the same time.

There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

I've seen it myself in the yak some days, very calm one minute, frantically hauling in the anchor in 1.5m chop the next. Not a whole lot of fun
