Post by glenn_78 » Sat Jan 14, 2017 10:34 am

Hi all heading to loch sport for a week to have some fun on the water. Wondering if anyone knows if its possible to launch a 4m tinny surf side? Hoping to catch a gummy...
Cheers

Only stayed there once but I dont remember any beach ramps. Even in good weather I think the swell would be too big for a beach launch anyway. I would stick to the lakes in something that size, you are a long way from any help down there.

quite a few launch tinnies into merrimans creek at Seaspray and its a short drag over the entrance. There is a marine park to the west of Seaspray, avoid that and there is great fishing directly out within 7km from shore. Make sure you have the safety gear as the fishieries inspector & police drop in regularly to check.
