Took the father in law out for a bait collecting mission Saturday at shallow inlet with the hope of getting some salmon.
Well after towing lures for an hour i decided to anchor back in the inlet and get some burly cranking.
Well it started straight away with mullet and big trevers taking pippy, squid and blue bait. Even got one whiting on blue bait and 2 smaller ones that went back for another day.
all in all i should have enough fish baits for the coming gymmy / snapper season.
