boat fishing off sorrento

Post by ambler24 » Mon Jun 09, 2014 7:35 pm

hi all, went down to sorrento today launched the boat at about 8-8:30 started off going for some bait, so headed to our squid spot fished there for about an hour and caught 3 squid then decided to make a move to spot x for some gummies and sharks but noticed a lot of boats sitting in about 3m of water so thought why not and then bam first squid on my line after some light jigging so brought him in and then very next cast another squid then within a couple of minutes caught another 3 and my mate who was also fishing hooked on to 3 good sized bait squid then it became overcast so back on the gummies we went but caught squat. so we then tried a drop off we hadn't tried before got down there caught all terrible fish 2 port jackson sharks and about 5 banjo's but all in all a great days fishing.

In case anyone is wondering caught all of my squid on a white ika monster squid jig
