I sent an email to Capel Sound Foreshore regarding Tootgarrok Boat ramp and was advised they "have not received notification from DELWP to proceed with the dredging and clearing of the boat ramp. Until approval has been received we are unable to open the Tootgarook Boat Ramp."
If this is something they must get each year, then it is still poor plannning that this has not been done earlier. There would be plenty of regular users waiting for this ramp to be re-opened. As per above post, foreshore committees are only interested in getting the tourist $$ and not interested in season ticket holders using ramp in off season.......not happy Jan!
