Just a nice sounder pic of salmon school

Post by skronkman » Sun Feb 19, 2017 11:26 am

A bit late for a report but went out in 20 knots last Wednesday and found this salmon school hiding in the Lee of South channel fort. Had trouble getting lures and metals down to them initially but ended up letting the wind push us over them at about 3 knots trolling a deep diving hard body to collect one on every pass over them until we had 15 and were getting bored of them. Didn't hit up the rip because we missed the slack and I don't imagine it's much fun there in a 20 knot northerly.

Still something wrong with the attachment uploading. Says nothing over 5mb but rejected a 3.5mb. Cropped to reduce size.

Wow that's crazy. This is the time when you need downscan. And I'm suprised they are holding deep
