Thanks fellas, hopefully this weather decides to calm down so i can start getting out a bit more regularly and have more sessions like this one.

Plenty of squid and whiting heads in the freezer now just waiting to be turned into some snapper and gummies!

In regards to squid, grab a cheap handlinek and try a float out back just with a jig. Small ball sinker to keep near bottom. You be surprised how many squid you pick up, oh know they are there.
Great report
Cheers mate. After we got those few squid that followed the kgw up i made a double rig on one of the bigger rods, jig on the top snell and a pillie on the bottom. No takers though. I should have put one of the smaller kg's on a bait rig and float and put it out back.
There's always next time!
