First big snapper….woooooooo !

Hey guys.
Headed out yesterday to mud island.
Left Martha cove at 8am, drifted for squid until we had a few.

Straight out to 22m just off mud island. Water was like glass, it was a great morning to be out !
Lots of flattys, a few undersized pinkies, a couple of small barracuda, a few banjos and an eagle ray which was a heap of fun to battle !

Then I got on to this big fella !!!

Almost 800mm and 7kg. Not bad for my first ever big red !!!
Went quiet after that, we went back in for some squid for the table, managed only 2 more.
Happy days.
