Gday All. I was in Coles today and saw the price of calamari. Geez I'm glad I don't have to buy my squid.

I was having a look at the kgw fillets at my local fishmonger and was like.......

Haha yeah, not worth buying.
I haven't caught whiting for a while... :'(

Haven't seen carp for a while, was $7.00 a kilo
Might have to buy Anth's boat & catch my own (not carp)

look at the squid ring prices behind it and where they are from,

If you buy fish look at where its from buy aussie sure its more but you know its not got stuff like white spot always fun when some idiot calls fisherys because i have a coles bag with a drink or 2 and im fishing luckly i live on the edge of the containment zone for white spot but never use coles or woolies prawns i rather support the local tackle store and spend cash there for bait.

When you close commercial fisheries across the country what do you expect?
