Re: Squid Fishing Locations & Gear
Rui is his name and brand name as well. I was a customer that has become a mate, so I still have to pay . His jigs are as good quality as any out there, Japanese crown, cloth comes from all over the world even germany. If u have the time take a drive to Clayton he has his own brand and other big named brands as well. What i particularly like is that he has weights for his jigs, which is a must for WP anglers. And his prices are really good.
As mentioned in another post, as its probably the largest collection of squid jig you will see, allow yourself some time.

blairgowrie has been firing lately on the salmon and squid, i haven't been down there but my go to jig is a white sephia 14t keimura ( the old one not the new one) 3.0 gets squid from bait size to big breeders. Cheers Matari

If you were my cousin I'd charge you full wack as well...stay woke!Kimtown wrote:While on the subject and without needing to create a new topic, where does everyone get their jigs? I'm currently buying them from my cousins shop, but things like squid jigs are quite expensive there as he can't make them down for me unlike higher priced things (rods and reels) so they are around $22+ each for a 3.0 sephia
Surely theres somewhere only where you can buy bulk at around 15 each?
