Help with Squid of Mornington Pier

Anyone know what good spots on Mornington Pier are for Squid, what time of the day, tides, squid jigs (colour and size) and just other stuff in general.

Same as every other pier, look for the ink stains

Small 2.5 or smaller jigs. Colour varies. They can show up anywhere at any time depending on the day. Had hot sessions at pretty much all times of the day before. As long as its not too windy.

Around the lights on small pier where boats are moored, or along the whole right hand side of the main pier, look for ink marks. You’ll want a 1.8 - 2.5 jig. A lot of people use drop shot rigs with tiny sinkers works very well when windy.

We use to use darker colours around the lights at dush was best
