I went to Blackrock pier tonight for a couple hours.. spotted a few squid but none of them would touch a jig.. where do you fish the pier? Up the end casting back towards the beach?

Thanks

What are other people’s favourite jigs? Seems to be a different ball game compared to Sydney, you pretty much throw any jig at a squid in Sydney and they go for it..

Have you guys tried Rui jigs? If so, were they any good? Could you recommend any for the beaumauris area?
