getting rigged up for squid

hi guys, me and dad have been out a few times but it seems like every time we have comeback after the trip we need some more equipment or didn't have the right stuff, not trying to blame my equipment but were very inexperienced. I want to get to a point by the time the fishing season comes around we will be all set and using the right stuff, therefore catching more fish. A list below of absolutely everything I will need for squiding would be appreciated ! :water:

Around 20 odd jigs various colors n brands,
Squid spike-baited jig-float ,stoppers.
A whiting rod n 2500 reel,
Up to u if run straight braid or fluro or mono for leader...
Sea anchor to slow ur drift....
