Leader length for squid?

None.

I've bagged out on short leaders before, it's mainly got to do with jig action and quality of the jig. A good braid will indicate when the squid has latched on and when to strike.

Not the best way to increase your success as the braid is highly visible.

You would be surprised at how visible it is compared to a Fluor carbon leader. Might increase your catch rate when the squid are being fussy.

Landbase williamstown I just used 15lb mono as leader.....
I only use Fluro for kgw

Mono is less visible than braid also.

landbased 90cm shimano ocea 12lb fluro leader tyed with a improved albright knot works for me on squid i did use sunline fc rock but have caught more squid with the ocea fluro
