Daiwa Emeraldas AGS vs AGS Air
Which of the 2 types of Daiwa Emeraldas AGS rods is the better quality....... the AGS or the AGS Air? I assumed it is the AGS, with its SVF rod blank. Have I got it wrong?

Re: Daiwa Emeraldas AGS vs AGS Air
i have the emeraldas AGS MI 83 interline and i have to say its a great rod. not sure about the air but i dont think that they would be all that different
but the most important thing is to NOT get the interline. setting that thing up is such a pain.

The air model i believe is the flagship. But for some reason doesnt have SVF..
Tbh i doubt you will notice a difference. Both have V joints and AGS guides. That's plenty enough.

Thanks mate! I recently purchased the AGS 83ML and was looking at a second outfit as a back up. I was tossing up between an AGS or AGS Air 86M. That was until I was shown several other overseas products ie. Ever Green Poseidon Squidlaw, Emeraldas AGS Stois, Shimano Sephia Xtune etc.

Breaden make some really good ego rods too, I have two Daiwa interlines and rate them very highly
