To find a fish
You do the miles.
Catch the fish
and earn the smiles.

Lord, allow me to catch a fish, so large that even I,when speaking of it afterwards.........May have no need to lie !!!

Has anyone here had much luck with UV glow jigs?

I've always used cheapish jigs and am looking to buy 5 or so expensive jigs to see if If my catch rate improves.

The UV jigs seem pretty popular so I wanted to add one to my collection

Yes always good to have a uv jig. Having some variety helps to work out what color they are honing in on.

I believe glow and UV do make a diff, but that's just my opinion. I use a full glow in low light or deep water 8 m plus, Been using Rui's glow JIgs as i like the level of glow its not too bright, for around $9 bucks you cant go wrong.

Rui jigs are good value for. Money.

Pays to have a few different colours that work where you generally fish.
Sometimes the smaller squid will just want the smaller jigs too. So have 2.5 and 3 sizes.
Currently most squid in the bays are smaller models so a 1.8 -2.5 size is what works best I have found..
