my bros catch off the rocks in mtmartha around march. perfect bait sizes.

white jigs at dusk. then pinks as it got dark.
2-3.0

I mainly stick to Flinders for the big mammas;)

I've been getting into squid fishing. Had a couple of unsuccessful trips to Mornington, and one trip last Sunday which saw me come home with two small squid. This morning I arrived at 6:30AM. It took 90 minutes to bring in two small squid from the small pier. After breakfast I came back to bring in another small squid plus two larger models (~25cm hood, at an estimate) from the main pier. I lost a third larger squid as I lifted it onto the pier. I saw a couple of people bring in smaller squid but no one seemed to be doing especially well. I feel like watching people on piers, YouTube clips, etc have started to pay off.
