sorrento and mornington pier

headed to sorrento pier first last night, fished for a couple of hours, no luck, strong run out tide, so headed to mornington pier, lots of small squid around perfect for snapper baits, main pier will open christmas time

Thats' what they also said last year....pier will be open by Christmas (2010).

about 100mm-130mm roughly, end of the jetty

It's be nice if it was open now, I'd imagine some good fish would have been caught already. I would certainly be down there as often as possible if it was.

It is being worked on, but not at any speed lol It's been like this for about 2 weeks

Cheer up guys!

They could send down the crew that's been working on the Ring Road down to work on the Mornington Pier. Then the completion date would be 2020!

What a debacle that has been.
