Hey guys does anyone no if they are getting any pinkies at the pier? Thinking about heading down in the next couple of days…

I havnt been there in a while
Have they even finished the pier off yet lol it seems like it's been about 5 years.

Was just curious mate. I'm heading over to flick a squid jig around in the morning to get some fresh bait, and hopefully turn them into some pinkies in the coming days. I'll keep you posted.

Got to mornington for a squid at 8:30, got out the car and couldn't believe how many people was there on a weekday. Rigged up and headed straight over to the charter boat pier. Found a spot two casts and nothing so moved down a bit and first cast got one, nothing more for a few casts and then I got 4 in 4 casts. And then over the next hour grabbed another 2. Left at 10 with 7 small to medium sized squid. I'm heading out to wpb tonight in a mates boat, so hopefully I can turn the squid into some kgw and maybe a gummy or pinkie would be nice…
