Mt.Martha landbased Sharks.
I couldn't wait any longer to get back to Mt.Martha so after work i went for a fish at the rocks 5pm to 8.30pm. Left early because of the thunder getting closer and louder and the lightning lighting up the whole sky. The fact the other 4 fishos fishing there shite themselves and had already skeedaddled convinced me it was my turn to go. Water was way to calm and fishing into a low tide was a stupid thing to do. Anyway i had some fun/action landing 2 vicious man eating sharks 40cm and 50cm....Not raining when i left, peeing down through dandy and not a drop in Glen Waverley.
Calm Martha
Banjo/Skate about 40cm released
Port Jackson about 50cm released

Bad luck nhillboy. That Port Jackson looks pretty big. Thursday looking like the kind of weather you like for Martha but don't know the tides

Just curious... What is that green stuff just above the neck of the hook in the bottom picture?

What Raulfc7 said hskim, green luminus bead that glows under the water and supposedly attracts the fish to your bait. I make my own rigs and use beads most of the time. I get them cheaper on ebay in different sizes.Raulfc7 wrote:Mate I would say that's a green beed. Use them with your hookshskim00 wrote:Just curious...
