Saw a pier down in Geelong the other day a plastic bag tied to the pier, full of rubbish,... there is a bin at the end of the pier which they have to walk past to go home anyway, WTF?

It's not just around the bay. The kids and i have been taking a rubbish bag with us each time we go fish the Yarra. That way we can clean up our favorite spots after the morons that leave rubbish everywhere. If we don't do it, it just keeps building up and begins to look like a rubbish tip, rather than a peace stretch of river bank. And there is nothing appealing about fishing in a tip.......

Makes ya wonder what sort of upbringing they had too. I spent my teenage years in outback SA and if my folks had ever caught me throwing so much as a toothpick out the window or into the bush etc, I'd have had my hide tanned good and proper.

Whats worse than the rubbish left on the pier is the occasional fish....
Toad fish, banjos and port jacksons seem to be the victims far too often....
