Re: balcombe creek
Do what Boony said and get some prawns, I even use them for Yella's, work a treat, don't make have to come down and show you lad, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: balcombe creek
Squidgy Wriggler near the mouth, it's fairly silver so it'd been in the bay for a while before going back into the creek. They're all through the creek though depending on rainfall and if the mouth is open or has been recently. The other week it was flooded and close to bursting and it usually fishes crap for a week or 2 after it opens as the fish school up and gorge on anything floating down when it pops before they too head into the bay then return later. Keep note of the conditions every time you go and eventually you'll nut out where to fish it and when.matari wrote:what did you catch that one on? where in the creek? cheers matari
I wouldn't eat any that come out of there, storm water runoff and treated sewage enter the creek near the Augusta Street footbridge. Even the slime on the fish stink.

Re: balcombe creek
Had most of my fish there on prawn, at least 3 over 40cm and plenty over 30. Never seem to do so well in the winter or on windy days though.
