Mornington pier

Hi guys. Want to fish morninhton sat arvo and into the night LB. Is the pier wrecked again? If so does anyone know where good rock area is around mornington? Cheers

There are plenty of good spots just down the road from morno pier at Mt Martha from the rocks :thumbsup:

Thanks for that. Might try rocks in arvo and pier at night. Don't trust rocks at night

Went to rocks near mount Martha in arvo. Tried for squid but nothing. Had nibbles on smaller rod and managed a small leatherjacket. Stayed for an hour. Then tried pier on sunset. Was squidding on inside when my smaller rod buckled. Began to slowly reel in and line broke. Only had 9lb on it so not sure if it was a stingy or banjo. Tried worms after this and got an undersize mullet. Went home. Might try Brighton pier today. Never been there so be fun to try

I tried mount Martha as I've been there before. Not tried rocks in the mornington area near pier though.
