Hey guys! Just wondering if its a bad idea to fish off mount martha tomorrow? Ill be fishing for squid if i head there.

If its too dangerous, would i be better off heading to gunnas for a flick of the metal?

Yes landbased off the rocks.
The wind is northely up to 25 knots.

Im not too sure weather wise when it comes to fishing as im pretty novice and not a great swimmer so i dont wanna be in a dangerous situation alone

If it’s northerly, the rocks will be a no go for squid.

Leave it alone and wait for Easterley winds, water will be like a millpond.Checkout Fishranger app for forecast a week in advance and work in the tides with favourable winds. The coastline there runs almost due North/ South so any off shore wind will be perfect.
Also recommend a bit of a recce before you attempt Martha rocks, the platforms are great but steep to get down to so have a look and know what you are in for with your gear on board.
I fish along there all the time in my boat and watch a lot of rock fisho,s in action (have also clambered down the cliffs to have a look).
Good luck.
