Salmon

Hadn,t planned on going out today but such beautiful morning, why not, that,s why I moved here.
Boat in by 10 out from the Martha rocks and as usual, had a whole pilly out in case a decent Pinkie came along.
Rod buckled and in came a decent Salmon. Switchd to ametal lure and cast around but nothing eventuated, got some rats and mice but nothing else worth keeping and came in after cupla hours.
Was planning to smoke the sambo but ran out of time so with winter coming on, here is a recipe worth trying for those who don,t mind the taste of Salmon.
Fillet and skin, cut out dark blood lines, wrap in foil sprinkled with olive oil,s and p, sliced lemon rounds, sprigs of parsley and rosemary, wrap into a parcel and into preheated oven 180 deg for 15 a 20 mins. Serve with the chips you heated while fish was cooking, glass of icy white, bloody great.
Give it a try next time you bring something home from Gunnas.
