Went down this afternoon for a couple of hours. Was seriously hot but the fish were still biting. Managed 4 between 32 and 34cms, had the baitrunner on and the fish gave cracking bites. All on raw prawn. Didnt get a bite on pillie strip or trevally.
At least managed to catch some this time although, nipper said that it was only because he was off watching star wars!

Fishing got killed off when a group sailed their model boat through the swim.

Had another 6 yesterday right in the heat. My first small one at 22cms, all the rest were 32 to 34cms. Tried a few other spots but no joy but some likely looking spots for the sp's. Rod got pulled all the way in by one of the fish as I forgot to set the bait runner, its amazing how hard they take.
