launching from Altona 14/02

Hey everyone had a few hours to spare today and we decided to take out the boat.

We're heading out from Altona boat ramp but still undecided were to go and what to fish for lol

if any one can give us some tips for what's been biting it will be greatly appreciated. How is squid going at point cook black stick or foot ball ground :s ?

No idea, I have not been out since early December.
Slim chance take boat out today, but more then likely go land base.
Ting n squid what I will be targeting up around Kirk's,wedge area, if I take boat out.

i know its a bit late but i just figured out how to resize the pictures to put it up. we only got the two squid and one flatty that day. we also went the day after and was able to get another squid and a good sized goat fish

Saw a report of 3 blokes got 50 odd whiting off werribee today.

now thats a good feed. I actually talked to a few people at the ramp who on them two days who said they got whiting, one of them had around 20 or something.

We tried for whiting but got nothing.

How did you end up going that day?
