I left the service's in '87 after doing my apprenticeship as a fitter/armourer.I can assure you they had real bullet's & highly trained people that knew how to use them,from varying distances,even way back then when it came to protecting restricted military area's.

And the go for hours on the range at Cerberus. You'd swear a boat blew up when they first pop one
