Stony Point Pier

Hi Guys,

never been to stony point pier and was thinking about trying it out, so any tips and information of where to fish from the pier and what can be caught there would be helpful.

I've heard you can catch good Squid as well as flatties and whiting.

Hey there. I've fished there a few times with not much luck. Got some nice Gar on one visit but other than that it's been dead. It looks fishy as it's quite a deep channel so you're as good a chance for a red or gummy as anywhere in the bay I guess.

It's busy on weekends. Personally I'd try after dark.

Oh and seen salmon caught there also (this time of year is perfect for em)

Like anywhere on its day you can get something.

Keep in mind its a WP pier and the tide rips by, so fish over the change.
