How rough was it coming back? How many knots would you say it was?

It would've been fishable but only just. Wind was probably about 15 knots, but running against the tide which gives a higher wind over water speed and therefore bigger waves than you might otherwise expect.

a 15 knot wind running against the tide is uncomfortable in my 4.55 quinnie. Well done getting out there in the yak and being successful!

Got **** all today, just an eagle ray, a black ray and something unstoppable that went for the horizon before snapping off at the FG knot.

Carl would've loved the surf session in the morning, there were kayaks going upside down all over the place.
