Awesome catch! I don't know of any other tuna (apart from stripies) to be landed out of any mornington peninsula ramps, so great effort this one.

We also launched at Hastings on the Friday and trolled outside the heads for several hours for donuts. No convincing signs either - no bait balls, only the odd bird just sitting on water, and certainly no bust ups. Were you on the boat cobby? If so, was it a blind strike, or did you come across a bust up?

I wasn't onboard no. It was more so a blind strike when they found clean water from what I know. Was well away from the green crap that was apparently in close
