:super: Thinking of going down gunnamatta beach for some salmon fishing off the beach next weekend then going back on the full moon cycle and using that salmon, if I freeze them in seawater they should still be fresh. But apparently the beach has some very good deep drop offs, gutters around there and best of all no sea weeds!

Do you have to freeze them with saltwater? I’ve caught them on salmon frozen straight in an air tight bag

I normally just take out of chilled water eski on the boat and quick drip off and into a freezer bag and strait into freezer.
If used within a month its like its almost fresh strait out of the water blood and all.

I’ve heard that it helps keep them fresh, but as said above seem to have the same effect. Guess it’s an each to they’re own thing.
