hey buddy, the number one reason I have noticed for people having the bail arm flick back over when casting, is when the line catches on the bail arm, just under where it joins the roller bearing. I sorta make sure this is clear out of habit, but have noticed when I take people out new to fishing that this almost always happens to this at some point and everyone has to duck for cover as rigs come flying back at the boat. just make sure the line isnt behind the "bend" in the bail arm, and you shouldn't lose many lures during casting.
