Quiet Day On The Salmon - Landbased noob.

Hey, Spent most of the day down at frankston beach, frankston pier and olivers hill rocks throwing some metal lures around, had no luck, The pier was extremely Quiet.
I left At 7:20 And Was there for 3 hours and didn't see anyone get a hook up.
Oh well, I still had fun.

They can be frustrating Damo, but always worth a punt, gonna chance my arm tomorrow morning at the gunn, but I suspect the swell may beat me..looked pretty rough tonight.

Was there monday from 5:30-9am, friend got 1 x 28cm. Saw a couple other small ones as well as 1 larger 1.5kg salmon. Heard last saturday that there were heaps of large 2kg+ salmon around sunset.

Yeah, sometimes they're there, Sometimes they're not, Normally i see schools of salmon around the mouth on the creek so i thought id have some luck.

I was chucking around a silver gillies baitfish lure, heard good things so bought 5 of them various sizes.
