Re: blue rock bass
I know someone who gets them there fairly regularly.
It took him a while to crack the code, so I might send it to you via PM.
Cheers

Get some form of water transport and keep working things out. You're close to being up the creek without a paddle being landbased. Something flashy to spur them on this time of year should work once you find them

Re: blue rock bass
The bait? Bass in an impoundment will very rarely hunt especially this time of year. They school up in big numbers in deep water and only really eat what comes past their noses. Flashy lures like spinnerbaits jerked in their faces works well but you can't do that without a boat and a sounderRicko wrote:It was on the bottom with worms...

Re: blue rock bass
That explains some things, I just started chasing bass in lake disappointment after a mate told me had caught a couple on poppers.
Last weekend I could see them on the sounder @ 20m-25m but not a touch on bait or lures.
I just bought a spinner bait this week, looks like another trip in the tinny soon.
Is the fact that the water temp is only 8.7 degrees a factor why they are not biting?
