Haha yeah I have been there once but only got one salmon. So what lures do people use for them? I have only tried soft plastic and whiting was on bait.

Something shiny and metal for the salmon, I usually use 10-15g metals in the bay for the small fish. Soft plastics for flathead, they aren't too fussy on styles although I like 3-4 inch paddle tails and curl tails. Having said that, I caught a flathead on a 30g halco twisty yesterday spinning for salmon.

Yeah, I had last week off, and went down three times. Got 15-20 each time. Only had a couple of hours each time so could have caught a lot more.Lightningx wrote:Yea? Have you caught some there recently mate?Scraglor wrote:plenty of gars around Frankston pier if you're into them.
