Big school of salmon off Frankston pier watched couple of TRUE fisherman killin it

2-3 kegs is a big sambo for the bay, I've hooked one around 2kg while I was pulling in 27-29 cm fish a while back. Gave me the shock of my life lol

I'm a newbie but that was what they told me measured 1 at 55cm,fantastic to watch!

Yeah, 55cm would be pushing 2kg I reckon. You definitely know about it when you hook up to one of those. Good fun.

Maybe they will be back around dusk, might give it a crack, have not witnessed the chaos on there yet.

55 is pretty good size.....when it's on it can be crazy there. Chicken for bait. Plastics if using lures.
