Drove past the pier and only saw one fisherman.

Next time it's blowing it's guts out I might pop down and have a look. Bagged out in 45 mins back in March, was gonna wait until it cooled off to try again but might be worth it now based on this report :P

Just saw pics of a 2kg sambo caught at sunset, shattered, should have ducked down rather than clean the boat.

I caught one on the float which was the only fish I saw landed, knowhere near 2kg just scraping 1kg. Couple of others lost fish but was pretty empty down the end. Was a fair few guys half way up, not sure if they had a special spot or just taking advantage of the lights?

I have always caught my fish about halfway up. You will see there is a sand bar there, and I reckon the fish run up and down the gutter eating stuff that rolls off the bar. I always do heaps better there than up the end in terms of sambos

Came down for a quick half an hour spin. Heaps of guys halfway up, no one seems to be catching anything. Windy as.
