Patterson lakes today

Post by Fisho87 » Tue Sep 01, 2015 4:17 pm

Hi guys..fished patto river today from about 8 am till 2pm
The weather was awesome near perfect conditions and had the place to myself
In the first half hour got a couple of hook swallowing Toadies then went quiet for an hour...All of the sudden I see my rod buckle right over and get pulled 3/4 over the railing just got to it in time reeled it in and can't beleive my eyes it's a stonker of a bream got it up just I thought it was gonna drop off as I was lifting it in (forgot the net) it was pretty heavy and on closer inspection I'm surprised I did manage to land it it was BARELY hooked in the corner of the mouth
It went 37cm which is my new PB :super: I'm absolutely wrapped:-D
Had afew small bites after that but all I managed was a couple of starfish but at that point I didn't mind lol
I was using Chicken and prawn as bait on small LS
