Frankston Pier

Post by arabshark » Mon Aug 24, 2015 3:33 am

Very clear water tonight, I think there were schools of mullet or small sand whiting under the first light. Another bloke had some luck with the gars and caught about 10 fish. There was a big pike in close but it was just sitting there, not interested in bait or plastics. I also saw a big gar at the end of the pier but it wasn't feeding. No luck, no bites. fishing from around 11pm-12:30am.

It's been really quiet. I also tried Mordialloc Pier last Saturday afternoon. Used pipis and blue bait - not one bite. There were a few kayakers fishing around but they didn't seem to get anything too. Oh well, that's fishing :(
