Welcome to the site. I don't fish there myself living in the west but I do get envious of people living down the mornington peninsular you can fish both bays in little driving time.

Are Ls size 4 hooks ok or should I go smaller

Yes I use size 4 baitholders. holds prawns a bit better. longshank will be fine though

Yeah I consider myself pretty lucky there is alot of LB options fairly close to me
