Live at the patto river

Post by bigwatkins » Sun Jul 20, 2014 8:54 am

Decided to chance my luck down at the patto river this morning. First time ive ever fished jt. Got 1 small salmon so far, swallowed my long shank so hes
Comen home. Hoping for a few more for that curry my mrs wants to make.

The water is fairly dirty. But fingers crossed. (Fingeres might snapp off if i do)

Fishing on the pontoon just to the left of the main car park.

Any tips?? Cheers

Maybe a mullaway but not the biggest if
It was.
I was thinking maybe a massive salmon or good sized bream.
Moved further down havent had a touch since. Lots of boat action not a lot
Of fish action

Never had a decent session there. Glad you got onto a few.

Try flicking metal lures if the salmon are around it's easy to pick up a dozen in half an hour.
